Summer Work Around the City
Roadside vegetation cutting has
begun and will continue through June 26. In August, the
annual chip seal program for road maintenance will include work
on Edgewood Drive and along a portion of 8th Street. Although
the date has not been set, the work should be completed the same
day it begins.

Cisco Does Rain Gardens
The Ever Popular
Cisco Morris will be at the
Puyallup rain garden installation workshop
on August 22 from 10 am to 1 pm
and will broadcast his entire show live ! Be a part of the
installation and learn how rain gardens help manage stormwater.

Surplus Furniture Sale
The City is making a variety of surplus office furniture
from the old building, such as desks, cubicle patricians and
file cabinets, available to the public for purchase.
All items are available for viewing/purchase during regular
business hours (8:30 - 5:00), so feel free to stop by!

Improvements at Nelson Nature Park

A picnic shelter was recently installed,
which is great for
a relaxing family picnic in the park. If you've never
been to the Nature Park, it's a must see.
Take a walk along a tranquil path and enjoy the abundant plant and animal
life under the canopy of trees. Restroom facilities are now
available.

Illicit Discharges? Edgewood is using its City Hall number (253.952.3299) as a
"hotline" to report
any spill that could enter into the storm sewer that could
constitute a threat to human health, welfare of the
environment. If you reach voice mail, press "0" and
leave a detailed message, preferably with your telephone
number. You can reach the Environmental Protection
Agency (EPA) by calling 206.553.1263. Thank you for caring about environment.
